JUST PUDGE

One of the things we struggle with the most as Christians is prayer! Sure, it may seem simple but somewhere along the way we complicate it which leads to confusion, then to frustration and then to resignation of the idea of prayer entirely. This is just a snidbit of what Perry (our Senior Pastor) taught us this weekend at NewSpring Church…

This week Perry tackled the subject of prayer head in one of best messages I have ever heard! His passion is to help us understand and have a clearer Biblical view of what prayer is all about. I will let you hear (or see) the rest from him. The message should be up on our web page later today…you can hear or view the entire service then…here (bottom of the page)! You can also read from Perry here on his blog! Either way you can’t afford to miss it!

Other than that I don’t have any new news today. Why? Mainly because…I am extending “the CEC” through today (since only one person has submitted an idea…come on, this is fun…right?). Anyway, the creative challenge is simple…”what would you call the “CEC” other than the “CEC?” There is more information about this here. Also, if you want to see who the cumulative leaders are of “the CEC” you can click on the “leaderboard” page (above) and catch up on all the action!

Lastly…this week is going to ROCK! I have finally gotten a little ahead with some posts and I think you are going to like the line up this week (at least I hope you will). Here is a sneak peak of what’s coming:

• Tuesday: We are going to talk about how to communicate our big ideas with others.
• Wed & Thurs: We are going to be looking at the top 5 problems (& solutions) in CM.
• Friday: We’re going to see who won the “CEC” last week & decide if its still worth doing

It’s going to be a fun week! Also, please pray for our team right now! Our CM area is DEEP into Summer Blockbuster & where it is going to ROCK…it’s a lot of work! Also, our SM area is DEEP in the Gauntlet and it’s a lot of work…but well worth it (Alden probably has some more info on his blog…here)! We are pumped about what God is going to do through both events for our children & students!! I will give you the updates as I can, but for now…if you guys could pray for us, that would be stupendous!!
