JUST PUDGE

One of the things that fails to amaze me is how quickly things grow up and out! Take for instance ’social networks’…they used to be seen as very juvenile and ‘dating-service’ oriented, but they aren’t anymore! Like Tony was saying a few weeks ago, ’social networks’ have grown up!

I’ve never been a huge fan of ’social networks’ out of the fear of the possible ’sketchiness’ of it all. However, when my friend Ken (whom I do trust) recommended ‘Twitter‘ to me…I jumped on board! At frist, ‘Twitter‘ was just a way to provide ‘instant updates’ on my blog of funny or interesting things (at least to me…lol) that I am doing. I didn’t think it would amount to much more…may not even work for me.

The result has been quite the opposite…its blown up! I am amazed at the amount of people out there that ‘Twitter.’ It has been a HUGE opportunity for me to network with other CM & church people and see what’s going on out there in their world (and vica-versa). Also, many volunteer at our church ‘Twitter‘…how cool is that (the future of update communication…I don’t know? )?  For me, ‘Twitter‘ has become s a HUGE networking tool and a lot of fun!

Speaking of, I’m looking for more ideas for possible pictures for the blog header…shoot me any ideas you may have out there by sending me a ‘tweet’ (I think that’s what its called). Or just drop a line here on the blog…I’m dying to know how many people out there really do ‘Twitter!‘
