JUST PUDGE

I love to read Proverbs! The book is so enlightening and fresh! It speaks TRUTH and not in a candy coated way, but in a “smack you in the teeth” kind of way! And it’s beautiful! One of my favorite Proverbs is 18:22, it says…

The man who finds a wife finds a treasure,
and he receives favor from the Lord.

Now, I know there are many more AWESOME Proverbs, but this is one of my favorites!! And today is a great day to share that because two years ago today my wife and I were married in Charleston, South Carolina! It was the greatest day of my life (next to my salvation, of course) and she is more than I could have ever asked for or imagined!!

I know that every man believes his wife is the most amazing thing ever, but mine really is!! Why? Because she…

• loves Jesus with all her heart!
• is a blessing from God in my life!
• loves me more than I should ever be loved!
• is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen!
• sings like an angel!
• makes me a better man!
• makes our house look really cool!
• helps me stay focused!
• takes care of me (and I her)!
• supports me (and I her)!
• is radiant…every day of the week!
• is everything to me!
• completes me!

I could go on and on…no seriously I could, but I think you get the point! I LOVE my wife so much! When I think about how God brought us together it reminds me that before He even formed the earth…He knew Meghan and I would be married! He knew we would become one! He ordained it that way!

You see, I love my church (the most awesome church ever), I love what I do, I love the calling God has placed on my life, I love doing this blog, I love…many things, BUT none of them take precedent over my wife! She comes first!! It goes…Jesus, Meghan, etc.

Why? Because that’s the way God ordained it, because its beautiful when it works that way, because I wouldn’t want it any other way!

Meghan, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! Thank you for marrying me, thank you for loving me, thank you for putting up with me (because I know, I can be a handful sometimes)! You complete me and I am a better man and a happier man, because of you! I love you!
