So I’m in the process of constantly striving to simplify things…it’s just simpler that way!
One of the things I am wanting to do is simplify the way people are able to follow the blog. Some people just visit the site, some have an RSS feed and some subscribe via email. To each his own…
So, although my gut is telling me to just go ahead and simplify by running everything primarily through ‘Feedburner‘…I wanted to check with you guys first and get your thoughts. The goal to simplify things does no good if I complicate things for the people actually reading the blog!
So, here are some questions I wanted to throw out to you guys, I would LOVE your feedback!
- Does anyone use Feedburner?
- How do you check out this blog (email subscription, RSS, or just stop by)?
- Would you like an easier way to keep up with what’s going on? What might that look like?
- If you have a blog, what means do you use so that your readers can ’subscribe’ to what you’re putting out there?
- Would you like to subscribe by email to this blog (this means new posts will be sent to you via email)?

I use Bloglines and really like it. I’m not opposed to using Feedburner, even though I know little about it. But my inbox is too cluttered already to receive a blog via email. Thanks for the options!

Pudge, in response to your questions:
Do I use Feedburner? Yea, I feed myself and burn it off riding my bike. Probably not what you have in mind.
How do I check your blog? I have your blog in my favorites list and periodically check it when doing other things on line.
I don’t have a blog. Your mother-in-law keeps me busy way too busy!
Not really intersted in subscribing by email. The way I check your blog works fine for me (see “How do I check your blog” comment above).
Well there you go, you asked for feedback, I probably was not much help. Hopefully others will give you better ideas on simplification, or at least something you can work with! (Give the “puppies” a big hug for me!)
