The other day I was curious how one might could upload video (as in from their phone video camera) to YouTube. So I began to search…
Now, to be clear, the real reason I was doing this was because I thought it might be the best avenue to also put funny videos on Twitter. Which, to again be clear, I’m not referring to top notch production videos here (remember, cell phone camera…2 mega pixels people)…I mean bloopers, candid camera, “oh my gosh, that’s unintentionally hilarious” type stuff! Ya know? 
Anyway, as I began to browse through YouTube I began to look for UPLOAD options. In doing so I found that YouTube had made it easy for me to upload videos from my mobile phone. I just signed up and they gave me an email address. From there it is as simple as…
- Taking a video
- Saving
- Emailing to said (given/assigned) YouTube email addy
- Attaching video
- Send
That’s right, it was that simple! I was actually really impressed! Also, I found out the following information…
- There is now an easier way to view YouTube videos from your mobile phone
- YouTube was bought out by Google (or their at least partners)
- Having said that, signing up for YouTube account is as easy as using your Google account
- Side Note: Google also bought Feedburner
- You can upload multiple videos to YouTube at one time
Now, some of you may be wondering why I’m not saying anything about Vimeo.. (clearing throat before rant)…
Well that’s simple…I don’t care for them right now! Why? I have yet to find a way to display and upload a Vimeo video onto this blog. So, if I can’t share the content provided…I’m not interested. Now, if you know of a way to do such things…please let me know and I will retract my statment about Vimeo and begin said support.
