So I wanted to share with you guys everything that happened this past weekend at NewSpring Church…
But I wasn’t sure how to put it into words…
I thought about typing up a post that told you how we had 2281 kids across all our campuses this weekend and 356 at our Greenville campus (281 the previous high).
I even thought about telling you how we exceeded our highest number of volunteers serving in one weekend record by so many and how our CM team pulled together to do more than they even are aware of yet…
Then I thought…
The best way to let you really hear about everything that went on this past weekend at NewSpring Church was to read it from our leader & Senior Pastor, Perry Noble. He’s got the scoop… & check it out!!

That is amazing! It sounds like you guys are thriving.
Are weekend in Chicago Illinois looked something like this.
6 below zero at the start of our first service.
6 below zero at the start of our second service.
25 mile per hour winds.
Ice covered are whole parking lot and came right up to the front doors. (useing salt is a sin!)
It was our lowest CM weekend since I have been here. (3 yrs.)
The good news, is all our CM volunteers showed up to help kids begin and grow a friendship with Jesus! They are outstanding!
Looking forward to warmer days.

David and I are excited to be a part of the CM team at NewSpring! For me, explaining to a 5th grader that a “manger” is a feeding trough, a big bowl for pig/cow slop and watching her eyes as she realized that Jesus, God Almighty, gave up the glories of Heaven to come to lay in a stinking animal trough and grow up to die for her sins was amazing! Her heart was not quite ready, and the Spirit has not fully convicted her heart, but seeing the sprout of the Gospel in her eyes was AWESOME! I have no doubt that soon our risen, living Savior will reside in her heart as Lord! I love watching the fruits grow from the seeds that have been planted in these small minds! May we never lose sight of the children. Can’t wait for this Sunday!
