Ok, some of you may be ANTI-POTTER…
Me, I’m a PRO-POTTER fan! I mean, “HEY…it’s engaging!” Can you honestly watch this and tell me you are curious…
Now, am I fan or advocate for believing in witches and warlocks…no! However, HOLLYWOOD is coming out with a movie like this in July and it’s going to REACH the kids that come to our churches!
We’d better be ready! Because no matter how tight you think that “bubble” you have is…it’s coming!!!
What about you…?
Are you a POTTER fan?
Or did I just ruin your Friday because I just popped the bubble that you thought was working? 
Then again, who knows…maybe movies like this or doing what they are meant to be…just for fun!!

I love Harry Potter! I just finished re-reading the whole series…all the way through from the beginning for the first time since Deathly Hallows came out. But I don’t see HP on the radar of any of the age groups (K5-5th) of my kids at church…are the pre-middle school kids as into it as the older ones who grew up with the series are?

I am not a big Harry Potter fan. It seems to me to be dabbling in dangerous things.
My nephew was a big Harry Potter fan and read all of the books. The reality is, when he goes to college in two years and he happens on to an ad for a wicca meeting on a bulletin board in his dorm, he will be much more likely to entertain it.
I don’t feel I am living in a protective “bubble” by steering my own kids away from it.
