Many times through reading blogs, sharing TWITTERs and other forms of social networking & communicating, we begin to feel like we really know each other. Which, in a sense, we do, and in at the same time…we really don’t.
This is meant entirely to be a fun post on random facts about me that you may not know. However, first I want to share something a little deeper of what God’s been teaching me.
I’m learning that whether we’re social networking, sending an email, leading a meeting or simply having small talk…HOW we communicate is KEY!! Here’s what I’m learning about those communication keys…
- Clear & concise is always better
- The “lines of…” matter more than even I’m aware
- Negative feedback can still be fed poistively
- Without previous investment, our communication will always have a limiting lid
That being said, I desire for you guys to know me a little better and I, you (spinning off the last one…investments). So, here are five random facts you may not know about me…
• When I was 14 I volunteered in the Head Start program…I worked with the “waddler” age (babies almost walking)
• As a older teen, most my Summers were spent being a Lifeguard at a community pool. Over 75% of the people we served regularly were community kids (ages 3-15) whose families could care less about them.
• While in Junior College, my work study was being a teacher’s aid in a local Elementary school for two first grade teachers.
• Also while in Junior College I began to develop a love for Disney (which I told no one because, at the time, it made no sense & was a little wierd) & have a desire to lead, write & think strategically.
• In my later years of college I found that I also really loved Psychology. Still love it & enjoy using it to “get to know” people a little better! 
Ironically, looking back I can see clearly now how God was using all these pieces to bring me where I am today in ministry. He’s smart like that! 
But enough about me. SPILL…tell us 5 (or 3 if 5 is too many) facts about you that we may not know!

Ok here are some things people may not know about me:
1. I was a male model and actor under contract for 3 years. (yes I know, laughter will ensue
)
2. I have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing and graduated early and with honors (I’m a closet nerd)
3. I still play video games… Alot mostly sports and shooters but I love video games.
4. I wore a patch on my eye for three years in Elementary school (for lazy eye not be a pirate day 3 years in a row)
5. Used to work for the Brown. I was a manager and we were awesome!
And just as an extra… I am a Tiger fan. The Memphis Tigers. I went to school there. They’re awesome at everything
