A very successful inventor by the name of Charles Kettering once said…
“The world hates change, yet it is the only thing that has brought progress.”
Most of us have no idea who Charles was & might quickly dismiss his attempt to posthumously impart wisdom. However, if you were to glance at his accomplishments, you may reconsider.
Truth be told, changes causes a twinge in all of us! It disrupts our comfortable routine & disturbs our personal agendas. Change wrecks “what is” and paves the way to “what will be.”
Change and progress typically go hand in hand. So much so that many will “invent change” in attempts to catalyst progress. Most of the time it doesn’t work.
I’m learning we have two choices when it cones to change. We can either be AGENTS for change (because we desire the greater win). Or we can simply AGONIZE over change (because we dread being personally disrupted). The choice is ours.
