JUST PUDGE

One of the social phenomenons that has begun to take over the world today is Twitter. The concept is simple and, at first glance, cause most people who aren’t already on board to scoff at it and question it…

• Why would I want to “update” what I’m doing?
• Why would I want to know know what someone else is doing?
• What in the heck is a “tweet?”

But for those of us already on board, we know why…its fun!

However, the tragic part about Twitter seems to be finding people with like interests. For instance, I want to know who out there in CM (Children’s Ministry) world twitters. I would love to know who out there in SM (Student Ministry) twitters. I would love to know the people who simple read this blog who twitter. But how do I find them?

As far as I know, there is no search engine that allows this to happen. So, I thought we could take matters into our own hands (and pray it works). Here’s what I’d like to do…create a list of everyone we know that twitters and what they do!! Here’s what that looks like for you, drop a comment below listing any/all of the following…

• Your twitter user name and what you do.
• Specify any people in CM you know that twitter (list their twitter user names).
• Specify all people in SM you know that twitter (list their twitter user names).
• Any other people you want to list that twitter…GO FOR IT!!

The heart of this is to simply push one thing…NETWORKING!! It’s an opportunity for us to share our contacts in “twitter world” where we can all begin learning from each other! Hopefully if this works, I will create a page on my blog that is simply dedicated to listing people who twitter and what they do for others to visit in the future.
Oh, here’s one more thing you can do to promote this working…twitter about this post to others! Ask those you know to drop by and drop a comment. The 2 minutes it will take them is nothing compared to the AMAZING oppotunities of networking that it creates!!

Ok, I can’t wait for tomorrow’s post…it’s called “2 keys, a door, and TRUST” and I hope you will all check it out.  However, I HAD to push it back till tomorrow because I ran accross this video and laughed so hard I think I might have broke something!

Now, before you view it you should know…we have two (inside) dogs, so our world is submersed with stuff like this. It isn’t funny when it happens to you, but when it happens to others it is funny (in love)!

Again, I’m not sure why I seem to be stuck on ‘fruit candy’ commercials…I’m sorry. However, one thing can be said about them, “they’re…interesting.”

Here’s one that when it ends you just kind of go…”hmmm. ok” and you move on. At least, that’s what it was like for me.

However, I’m curious what your reaction will be like. So, when the commercial ends, what’s your first un-filtered thought…?
