Most teams evaluate how successful they are based on how well they meet or exceed their goals. These goals may be set by themselves, handed down or organizational standards, either way it helps the team monitor how well they are doing.

Teams need goals, they need to know what they are aiming for & how they are doing at hitting it! However, sometimes too many goals can lead a team to divide their focus & even self destruct. So what are good goals & how many are too many?

As always, I have no idea & I wont pretend to, but I will share with you a simple “over-arching” goal/desire I have for my team…

ALWAYS, KEEP GETTING BETTER!

Its that simple for me…every moment is an opportunity to get better, capitalize on it!

Vague? Maybe. But if you show me a team that’s constantly striving to get better, I’ll show you a team that’s consistently successful!
