The Internet is becoming a more widely used tool today than it was 5 years ago, or even last year. We use email and Twitter and Facebook…collectively, we are all over the web!!
Why is the Internet growing and becoming more widely used? I have no idea…I’m no Internet expert! I have to use spell check just to help me spell ‘internet’ correctly. However, if I were to wage a guess, I’d say it’s because people like to be able to access things quickly and at their leisure.
That being said, we see more and more churches beginning to capitalize on using this tool to reach more people for the Kingdom!! I LOVE what our guys have done with NewSpring’s webpage - they’ve made so much information available for our church through our webpage, as well as providing LIVE services online each Sunday!!
I also LOVE what our KidSpring team has done with our KidSpring webpage! They’ve made it so you can find our Core Values in KidSpring & any other information you need to know before visiting us. In addition, we have a KidSpring blog that provides weekly updates about what our kids are learning each week. This way, parents can check it out and talk more with their kids about what we learned in KidSpring!! 
The Internet can be a great way to share information in our churches and especially in Children’s Ministry! And even though we all may be using the web, in some form or another, there’s still so much to learn and that we can learn from each other!!
